How many downloads?

Seems every other time I want to play Bodenplatte, I can't because of a down load. Is this normal?

only when there are patches to improve the game.

 

theres been a few recently but this isnt the usual state of affairs.

 

be patient and be happy the devs are so quick to fix issues

You can always choose to just login as offline and avoid any and all updates.

Its because they just had a big update - the rapid downloads are hotfixes to the update - that's sop after a big update......

Knarley Bob, here's the update history going back to since you were a member and just a little beyond.

 

If these coincide with just about every time you launch the game, maybe wait 2 or 3 weeks before launching it again and get your schedule out of synch with the dev's schedule?

April 8 - Update 4.005 (+ the usual 2 or 3 hotifixes)
Jan 21 - Update 4.00 (+ the usual 2 or 3 hotifixes)
Dec 17, 2019 - Update 4.003 (+ hotifixes)

It doesn't work that way.( At least for me) I get the updates as soon as I get on, before I choose online or offline. Am just wondering if the down loads aren't "taking". It says some thing about verifying game, and then starts the down load. I'm not trying to complain, just was wondering if things are working right......

I'm not a computer whiz, nor am I much of an on-line gamer, more of an ignorant old man ? dabbeling.

If you start the IL-2.exe instead of the Launcher it most certainly does give you the option to login offline. It's been that way from the beginning of the series.
