NA Pilot looking for in-depth experience

Hey everyone.

I'm looking for a group to join.  Relatively experienced, going back to old Aces High beta test days.  Have the whole setup (Hotas TIR, etc).  I'm looking to join a group, can be either side, as long as the following are present:

 

• Both Co-op and PVP missions.  I find the AI horrible - pretty easy to get 5 kills in a flight so there is very little challenge there.  The real test is against other pilots.
• Realistic ranking structure and medal system - Doesn't have to be taken overboard, but it helps with structure and a sense of personal progression.
• Active community with mature members.

There are many fine squadrons to choose from, ours is The Wrecking Crew (TWC) we can be found at https:/twcpilots.com

We are a combat flight squadron with history back to 1998 (1997 if you include all the talking before flying and have flown in the majority of combatsims multiplayer over the years. We are a relaxed group of mature age members, (not necessarily emotionally mature)

 

We fly in predominantly two sims, IL2 BOS multiplayer (9 active pilots) and IL2 Cliffs of Dover (30+ active pilots)

 

The Squadron has a structure and conducts both disciplined and relaxed flights. Certain expectations are made on every TWC pilot irrespective of length of service.  I wont go on about them here.   We communicate on discord. Details on the website. Your more than welcome to try our wing .  We have membership all over the world, predominantly US, Canada, Australia and the UK, but also have Spanish, German, South African and Portugese members.  Probably a couple of others but my accent discrimination fails me.

Our IL2 BOS contingient at present are all VR pilots, though that is not any kind of requirement.

The majority of our CloD players  are pancake screeners.

The 361st FG mainly flies the Mustang, but we do fly other types on occasion.

PvP only missins.

Realistic ranking and medal structure.

Character progress - you get assigned a guy and if you lose him he's dead AF.

Historical campaign every Sunday - aiming to reenact the second world war with the attention to detail not seen in flight sims anywhere else <-this is the main part.

120+ active members.

Primary sim is BoX, plenty members flies various DCS aircraft and other games.

Active with both mature members and absolute chimps like myself.

Umbrella organization for 15 historical squadrons.

Taz do you guys fly PVP or against AI?

Praetor, we fly against both AI and real life pilots.

 

On official squad missions we might fly a Coop on our dedicated server or hop on Combat Box etc.

Once a month we get together with multiple squads (Allied and Axis) and host a large PVP mission.

We also participate in TAW as well.

 

 

We have three squadrons (374th, 375th, 376th) and one HQ flight.
