Blitzen Posted May 26, 2020 Posted May 26, 2020 (edited) I'm getting a sort of sudden tuck downwards that is hard to correct esp at low level & then of course a sudden pull up ( due to panic) and then a sudden bank down to the left. This occurs generally in shallow dives but not at particularly high speed of extreme angle. Its not the high speed tuck early P-38's were known for.In both aircraft the controls for the first tuck don't work for a few seconds while the aircraft barrels downwards.very scary & at low altitude deadly.. This is not happening in other aircraft that I have experienced... Edited May 26, 2020 by Blitzen

I did not notice any such tendency, except on a couple occasions where my tail was shot up and my elevator controls were damaged. I have not flown the P-38 much at all, and not since the patch.
