Zooming into briefing map in-flight (with VR)

Hi All - a quick question - is there any way to zoom into the briefing map? I ask as the resolution isn't the best. Is the only way simply the standard 5x zoom? Just find it quite difficult to spot (for example) the rivers and their flow whilst flying. Have an Oculus Rift S.

I use the mouse scroll wheel. My VR sim rig has a track ball (not mouse) stuck next to my throttle, so I can take my hand off the throttle, use the mouse pointer and scroll wheel (= map zoom) then put my hand back on the throttle.

Are you able to access your mouse while wearing your headset?

I can use the scroll wheel on the mouse while accessing the map to zoom in and out the map on a WMR headset but i don't see any reason why you would not be able to do the same on a differing headset

If you don't have access to your mouse, I suggest using something like joytokey to bind mousewheel up/down on some controller you can use while flying.

Just keep in mind that airplane control is still active while you are viewing the map.

Yep they are. I had to put a sicker on my stick so the FFB doesn't deactivate while I'm using the mouse with my right hand
