Georgio Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 Even though crosshairs only is not very realistic, there is a valid point that anyone with a cockpit only setup would benefit from a gun sight only view for their particular set up. 1

That makes little sense. While the rest of us have the in game cockpit blocking our views, the wonder woman view players are completely unobstructed. 4

The "wonder woman" cockpit view as its been affectionately called was completely optional. Some servers catered to a very casual crowd and enabled this option. Others went more realistic and made cockpits mandatory and no external views a requirement. I can understand the preference to stick to the cockpit (this is my preference) but I would be for including this feature as more options means more players and I like to think that simulator game design mean providing a sandbox for people to play in - however they want to experience it (within reason - neon coloured 109s aren't part of that ). 1
Bearcat Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 From my understanding at this point it will not be an option. This has been discussed to quite an extent on the forums so I am locking this. Personally I think the option of a no cockpit view is a good thing and was surprised that it would not be included.
