[SOLVED] v4.006: yak1 ser. 69 MG sound is heard in cockpit when hitting enemy planes

When firing machine guns from a yak 1 ser. 69, bullet hits on enemy planes are heard in cockpit, as if its own plane was hit.

Hi, are you having this issue in singleplayer or in multiplayer?

I think that I am  hearing this also. However I am not using the Yakovlev but rather am using various Flying Circus aircrafts. It just seems to be the strikes on metal that I am hearing as though they are hitting my own aircraft instead. I've tested in single player only so far.

Singleplayer. I just tested the spit mk v, the p-39, the LaGG and the yak-7 and both spit and p-39 machine guns have the same issue but, apparently, not the yak-7 and LaGG. I tested against Bf-109-( I think F4), Fw-190-A3 and Heinkel.

I also tried as a gunner in an il2 but I keep getting shut down

I got this but only when super close, maybe you are hearing the hits from the other plane but they set them too loud, from a distance you do not hear them.

Hm, sounds like a bigger and more urgent problem... But we'll fix it!

Yeh agree, likely the case.

Same bug is present in Flying Circus planes. You can hear the sound of the round hitting metal in the plane you are firing AT.

I believe today's update (4.006b) solves this issue (tested with yak 1 and spit vb).
