Loved Rise of Flight, Still play it on occasion. Like FC and GB. was disappointed to hear career mode is doubtful for FC and heavy bombers for GB wont happen. questioning why the devs would start so many parallel projects and leave them half finished IMO.

Actually, none of their projects are half finished.  They give you exactly what they say that they're going to give you.  If you were expecting something different, that's on you.

As far as I'm aware (and please correct me if I'm wrong BSR), FC was an afterthought, an experimental add-on to the IL2 GB WWII series. It was designed primarily for MP. No campaigns, no career mode. This was a mistake in my view and would impact sales. However, I don't run a business and they do …. so what do I know. 

 

But now we have an in-game scripted campaign, something never promised. Perhaps this is a necessity because of sales? But it is a step forward in any case. And I hope it does increase FC sales. 

 

And then maybe, dictated by sales, there might be a career down the line? Or am I just dreaming. 

 

Anyway, I would not give up hope entirely. But it could be a long wait. In the meantime, enjoy what it is.

Oh yah right, I only fly on line so didn't really pay attention what we got for off line. Oh well better than nothing I guess, I'm sure when we get FC2 they'll give us a career. I doubt very much they'll let this pass by with out a career next time.
