Testing the waters here with a short, quickly made vid using free video editors. This is just a bit of fun. It's been years since I delved into vid making. I've forgotten a lot and free vid editors can be challenging.

 

Anyone got any suggestions for good video editors, free or otherwise? This was made using VSDC.

Last video I made was a while back as well - I used Cyberlink DirectorZone.  It is not free, but it is able to cope with more clips and effects than any free software I looked at.  Although not all the effects worked as advertised, it did allow me to splatter a cat over a Spitfire windscreen in 1st person view, for example.

 

Whether it is worth the money depends on how much you want to do.  Since going to 4K I have given up on videos. I can get good frame rates playing but not while filming.
