Just a question that can seem weird but important.

Do Flak units and AI planes react to the type of camouflage or the clouds cover or not?

If a plane flies over a thick clouds cover or hides in a cloud, is AI able to see it?

It seemed to me, on some missions that whatever the cloud coverage, AI opponent (airborne or on the ground) still continue to see me and shoot at me.

What I really need to know for a mission making is if I put a fly path above a cloud cover until the objective, is there a chance to approach a target undetected ?

I would think the only way to ensure that a waypoint went over cloud cover is to set your weather to Overcast and the waypoints at an altitude above the cloud layer.

I could be wrong here but I would think that a broken cloud cover would generate randomly (?) so at mission start you would have no assurance the planes would be hidden by clouds at any particular point of the waypoint path.

Check your 'Atmosphere Conditions' in the Mission Properties dialog box for weather type and cloud height.  You can modify the cloud height within certain parameters.

See the Mission Editor and Multiplayer Server Manual, Chapter 14; Reference, Mission Atmosphere Options Dialog, pages 205 - 207 for details.

My English should not be as accurate as I would.

I don’t need to know how to generate a cloud cover but to know if AI opposition see thru the clouds or not cause it seems to me that it doesn’t really
