River Racing 4-Pack!

Here's a pack of 4 different River Race missions for Cooperative mode, which replaces and augments the "Stalingrad River Race" missions posted previously in a separate thread here.

 

These courses use the Stalingrad, Moscow and Bodenplatte maps, with the river courses laid out on the Don, Volga and Rhine rivers, respectively.   Yes that's just 3 courses but the Stalingrad course has two different missions, one for racing Yak-1's and one for BF109G-2's, so you get a total of four races to run in Coop mode for a real party.  They all have a good combination of nice twisty segments as well as good long straightaways that provide an opportunity to squeeze every bit of straight-line performance out of the aircraft.

There are several upgrades and new features from the previous Stalingrad race courses to enhance your thrills and enjoyment: 

1.  Vehicles are temporarily implemented as motocross-style "starting gates" to prevent anyone from jumping the start, and also to help the Me-262 start spooling up early.  Prop planes receive engine damage if they start rolling  early, so you gotta stay honest at the start!  The 262 just bumps up against the tanks without receiving engine damage, allowing everyone to start spooling up as early as possible for an even start.  Otherwise the start is too slow and planes are strung too far apart in the race.
2.  Made use of the big green circle-thingy and arrow-dealybob custom objects in the mission editor to help outline the course directions.  At the cost of "immersion", oh dear. 
3.  A couple of additional new interesting features pop up along the course of the race to keep things interesting. ?

 

Recommended Server Settings: Allow changes to Fuel and Paint Scheme, lock the aircraft weapons loadout, set realism and engine management settings to taste.

Mission Success Criteria:  Complete the race without going for a swim.

Estimated time to complete: 15 Minutes (approx.) for the Stalingrad and Moscow map courses, 22 minutes for the Rhine river course.
