Green Hearts – 4 ‘Operation Bodenplatte – Mission 1 – a single mission by DFLion

You watch I./JG26 Staffel take off from No.1 airstrip, 90 seconds later your green flare signals your take off from No.2 airstrip. As your Staffel climbs into the air above the town of Furstenau you think about the mission ahead of you – you study your map and look at the reconnaissance photos of your targeted Allied airfield, Grimbergen. If everything goes to plan the Allies should be completely surprised!

Your missions are nice, but it would be much easier if you give a clear link to the skins you are using

Thanks 'jeanba', I will try and supply links to skins on future missions. Anyway I have attached a couple of links for you. The JG26 link will give you all the skins for the FW190D-9 for both JG54 and JG26. The Spitfire link I'm not sure about, anyway have a look?

Attached is a mission update to game version 4.602b as previously discussed on the forum. I will re-jig this mission to give you the Allied perspective when they defend their airfields and post in the near future.

Hi DFLion, as opposed to Escape from Normandy, this mission is not detected by the sim. Any hints?

How are you ubik_2008. Make sure you use the 'zip' I posted above, not the original one. I have updated the latest version of this mission to work in the latest game version - 4.602b. I have tested it on my computer and there are no problems. Let me know how you go.

I unzipped the last version in my single missions folder but it's not recognized. Escape from Normandy works though

Sorry to  hear you are still having problems with this mission (Operation Bodenplatte). I have just tested it again on my computer and again no problems. To play this mission you must have the FW190D9 'Collector plane' - have you got this aircraft?

I'll purchase the D9 even though I am not the German planes type, let's support the devs...
