wOLFFOLIVE Posted May 13, 2020 Posted May 13, 2020 Hello, I recently bought Il2 BoS and want to run it on my 2018 macbook pro. I used bootcamp to partition my drive for roughly 80 GB for windows 10 home. When I go to download BoS (20 GB roughly), I run out of storage really fast. In windows storage settings I initially have 55 GB of free space, but when I download BoS I lose storage at about 2.5x the rate of the size of the file I download. This is really weird. So what ends up happening is 55 GB isn't enough space for BoS even though it should theoretically only take up 20 GB. For every 1 GB of the game I download, roughly 2.5 GB of storage is lost. Has anyone else had this happen to them before? Should I just go for the 100 GB partition? With the 40 GB partition I managed to get around 15GB of the game downloaded before it stopped so I assumed 80 would be enough. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Well, assuming you have downloaded the game, which is actually only the installer and it will download the whole game for you. After the game is downloaded/installed check your game's folder and look for a folder called "update" - you can delete its content, which should free up some considerable space.
