Hello to all the pilots. I am new to the world of il-2, I just bought the game and I wanted to ask you how I can activate the product key on Steam, since it gives me an error.

I don't think you can do that. Hence the error.

If you buy from the site you cannot activate on Steam. If you want to play it on Steam, you have to buy it on Steam.

Si quieres el juego en steam debes comprar el juego base, il2 battle of Stalingrad en steam y los DLC puedes adquirirlos en la página de il2.

So what is the benefit of linking Bothe accounts ? Developer clearly mentioned that this is to able to share purchases !!.

I have an issue and make ticket in customer support for it and received no reply yet . I bought BOS and other modules from steam . Then bought  attached campaign from IL2 main site and did account link . my user name in il2 appeared on BOS game screen instead of randomly generated user id but non of purchased scripted campaign activated on my steam account

I  have BOS from Steam, everything else from IL-2 site, and it works together. Campaigns included. If you did everything correct, then contact support. 
PS: steam and il-2 email must be same, I figured that hard way

Thanks for reply . This is problem because content bought already with different email id for IL2 website not similar to Steam , Is there anyway to change the email id in main IL2 site so I cam use the purchased content .

I changed my steam email, that is easy. In IL-2 site you can ask support for email change.

i changed email on steam reinstall the game ,Nothing changed .The account link ACCOMPLISHED  in form o steam user name Shown in BOS GAME SCREEN ONLY  

no content from il2 registered

try restart, logout, login. Somehow steam game asked me again for il-2 login, and finally my accounts were fused together. Since then I had only a few linking problems, but restart solved it every time.

PS: everything looks same, link or no link, you just have all your modules/planes/campaigns when linked
