Duet app + windows keyboard app?

I came across the duet app for iPads in the App Store and thought it might be useful if I find a windows app that allows custom layouts bound to keyboard combinations. That way it would be possible to layout custom screens for different planes and bind these to keybindings in il2. 
 

I was wondering if anybody have perhaps tried something like this already   

 

I have seen DCS Helios, but I don't need to export the UI from the cockpit but simply be able to add my own buttons with some layout. Old posts mentioned an app called CCP but it doesn't look like it has been maintained for years now and I doubt it works any longer.
