You mean this one: Bloch MB 151 The MB 150 was the original design and as a prototype only produced once. The next series would have been the MB 151 and MB 152. Cheerio 1
Chief_Mouser Posted May 6, 2020 Posted May 6, 2020 You also need the Ju87B, Fairey Battle, Henschel Hs123, Henschel Hs126, Bristol Blenheim, and the Hampden and Hereford are entirely different aircraft. So many of the Armee de l'Air aircraft were chronically obsolete or present in such small numbers that it's hard to fill out a list with them. A pack based on FoF to complement what we have already in BoX could be... Luftwaffe Bf109E-3 Ju 87B-2 Bf110C Do17Z-2 ??? Collector: Hs123 Allies Curtiss H.75A MS.406 Hurricane Mk.I Fairey Battle Bristol Blenheim IV Collector: Dewoitine D.520 ...but it's increasingly hard to find any Luftwaffe aircraft that isn't yet another variant of what we already have. Cheers. 5
Pikestance Posted May 7, 2020 Posted May 7, 2020 I was constructing the information to present this as a suggestion, but i think you did a far better job than i would have. 1
jeanba Posted May 7, 2020 Posted May 7, 2020 (edited) The MB162 was not operationnal. The Amiot 354 and the MB131 had a very small use in the battle of France You missed the Breguet 691/3 which had the missions as the Blenheims and Battles: Indeed, when I play Bobp, I often overfly places where the Breguet attempted to stop the panzers such as St Trond ... Thanks, but we all have our favourites and your ideas might be better than mine (or more realistic). I would like to see the Fall of France in BoX but I don't think we ever will. It treads too closely on CloD's toes and the planeset is unlikely to appeal to the pure dogfight guys amongst us. The OP included the Hampden; this is a plane that I would love to have but it's primary usage was at night and that whole nightbomber scenario is something that BoX isn't likely to do. 1
jeanba Posted May 7, 2020 Posted May 7, 2020 (edited) 1946 + latest BAT can simulate pretty well BoF and Fred's D520 is one of the nicest plane in terms of realisation I have seen Of course, having BoF inside CloD would be more logical, and the D520 will be implemented in version 5.0 (in addition to the British and German and Italian planes) Edited May 7, 2020 by jeanba

I don't necessary share your pessimism for the creation of a BOF, but i must contraire (no pun intended) on dog fighters not liking the plane-set. The D520 must be on anyone's dog fighting list and the battle an earlier 109 E would be a treat for any enthusiast. I do suspect that team Fusion has first rights to early war stuff, so that would be the root of my pessimism. Personally, I would rather team Fusion be contracted out to work within the current IL2 game sets, but it isn't my intellectual rights, so that's that. Ps,.. your words are kind and appreciated.
-=PHX=-SuperEtendard Posted May 7, 2020 Posted May 7, 2020 Another good bomber for consideration is the LeO 451 Yes that's a rear 20mm cannon ? 1

Shame, as it looks interesting.

They have different game engines with many differences, and getting the team familiar with the game engine would take a considerable amount of time. It’s like erroneously saying that because one can fly a 6 seat twin engine airplane, then they can fly a Q400. 2 completely different planes. Hope this helps anyone.

Of course it is a different engine. It is not going to happen has more to do with protecting their current intellectual rights than any perceived learning curve. I also suspect that Team Fusion is part timers and any contractual work will a have to adhere to a time table. 1
