FAE_Pelicano Posted May 5, 2020 Posted May 5, 2020 Suddenly after new keyboard assignments I get a Performance Monitor popping out in the game when I press Ctrl key. Any idea how to avoid this without having to dive into changing assignments again? Thank you

Any idea how to avoid this without having to dive into changing assignments again? Thank you Never seen that before. That doesn't look like something from the game TBH. That looks like some third party monitoring software. If it is from the game though, I don't know how you could avoid looking through the keybindings and finding it, it can't be a commony key people are just going to remember. I think the game just has the framerate monitor in the top right corner, activated/deactivated by backspace. Edited May 6, 2020 by RedKestrel
DD_FT- Posted May 6, 2020 Posted May 6, 2020 (edited) Looks like it's part of 3DMigoto mod. Just installed it for this test, when I press LCtrl-F9 it pops up, same as your screen shot. (Not sure why I am taking the risk of installing it, I am not even a VR user ... lol. But every now and then it seems to be fun to dive into a problem...) How to disable the key-press? I dunno ... will look into it a bit further. Edit:>> there's a file called d3dx.ini in the 3DMigoto mod structure, it contains this line: monitor_performance = ctrl no_shift no_alt F9 So, maybe yours is a bit broken? Either try fiddle with it, go ask the creator of the mod, or remove it and re-install all it. That's all I got ... Good Luck, and Have Fun! Edited May 6, 2020 by DD_FT-
FAE_Pelicano Posted May 7, 2020 Author Posted May 7, 2020 (edited) Solved! It was an NVIDIA software used to record the game screen. I recently installed MIGOTO for the zoom (no VR either) and no problem with that. Thanks for all the answers Edited May 14, 2020 by FAE_Pelicano 1
