a little help please

Hi everyone,
I've been away from IL2 for a long time due to a house fire and now I'm ready to get back inti them.
Everything has changed so much and I've forgotten a lot of things.
Can somebody please post a link or 2 steering me to where I can find the essentials for tweaking my IL 2 1946 sim (conf.ini tweaks, important mods etc) to get everything set up again on my new pc?
