Permanent bomb rack installation

Would it be possible to make the bomb/drop tank wing rack a permanent installation on the P-51? At a minimum could it be part of the options set up screen as is 150 octane fuel, K-14 gun sight ect? I can't honestly say I've ever seen a picture of a wartime P-51 that did not have the wing racks installed. Looking at the set up manual for the Mustang, the complexity of the installation would not lend itself to something to be done on a regular basis. Too, given that the P-51 was used as a long range escort the vast majority of its time during WWII, there's little reason to believe few if any did not have the racks permanently installed.

It is option in modifications, its n21/n25 , you select bomb and then just take ammo without bomb and your 51 is spawned with bombracks no bomb but guns.

I dont know if for MP there was fix so server can limit what modification player has to have by default ( last time i check player could remove it if server wonts player to have modification ), if that was fixed then server can make that every 51 has to have bombracks everytime.

I remember being able to do that when the P-51 was first released. I tried after the last big patch and thought it wasn't an option anymore. I'll give it another try. Thx for the heads up.

 I'd still like this as an option in the menu.

 

edit: You're right CountZero. Seems a little less intuitive than it could be but, it works. It also works similarly for the P-47. Thx again.

They could atleast name it racks only, i noticed it only when i was adding paylods for IL-2 stats, was wondering why is there so many same paylod options, then i realised its racks only and guns. It can be used with any other modification.
