Virpil CM2 throttle axes not recognised as axes in BOS

HI, just bought BOS earlier, and I can't get my Virpil throttle CM2 to work fully.  Buttons are OK,  the 'zoom' axis is OK, as is the flaps axis, but the 2 main throttle axes are seen as POVs and I can't get them to work as the main throttle/rpm axes.

 

Any help appreciated!

You might want to ask Virpil for support directly, because that sounds like a driver issue or something with their software being off.

 

FYI they are usually taking holidays due to two bridge days (1st to 9th of May) in most former Soviet countries.

Thanks for that.  Not sure why that would be though as everything works perfectly well in all other games - DCS, Elite Dangerous, etc.

 

PS. I'm not getting notification of replies here even though the switch for it is on.

Open Windows Games controllers (click in Start and type joy.cpl, hit Enter).

 

Select your VirPil throttle and in properties check axes movement.

If axes are OK there, is something with game controls assignment.

If are not responsible there, contact VirPil support.

Ok, I've worked it out. IL-2 doesn't like my virtual detents setup in the VPC software. I have to remove them, set up in IL-2 then go back to VPC software and put the detents back in.

Bit of a pain, but all good now. Thanks for your suggestions.

Yeah it probably sees it as a button press.

Hello, I'm having the same problem with the flaps axis on my Virpil Mongoose.  What do you mean by, "set up in IL-2"....  Thanks.
