P-51D Gunsight selector labels inverted?

Brief description: Gunsight selector labels inverted?
Detailed description, conditions: Choose gyro gunsight mod for the P-51D. Gunsight selector labels appear to be inverted.
Additional assets (videos, screenshots, logs): See attached screenshot.
Your PC config data (OS, drivers, specific software): Win10 Pro, latest nVidia driver

 

I hunted for photos on the internet to see what the labels were like in real life. But alas, I was unable to find any photos of this equipment. If someone has a photo of this equipment can you please confirm if the labels were as shown in the screenshot?

Thanks. Does anyone know why just those labels were inverted? Everything else in the cockpit appears to be oriented for the pilot to read!

In other P-51 sims I have the gunsight selector is on the left side of the cockpit and the labels are right side up. By mounting the selector on the other side it was flipped, as the photos show. Maybe in some real-life aircraft it was moved to make room for something else? In the photos it looks like a lamp is mounted on the left, where the selector was.

Yes, I think those photos are from planes that were modified at the depot level. If I recall correctly, P-51D-15s came off the factory floor with a standard reflector sight installed (same as the P-47D-28). It was in later models, when P-51s were fitted with gyro sights at the factory, that the control arrangement was changed.

Ah ok, this makes sense now.
