It is a steady growth for all months before, but this last month the growth reason could be also due to the COVID-19, many people at home with freetime.

But it surprises me more was the market share of the original HTC vive headset (in blue) is still the number 1 headset in steam:

 

It is important to note that Steam is just Steam. It would be interesting to know such a market share graphic including all platforms (Steam, Oculus, WMR, etc).

The Alyx game is great.  It is a big jump for the VR platform as the only AAA game available.  Things are getting more affordable.  I sold my original rift on Ebay for under 200 and that system looks and runs great on just a 1060 6gb card.

Yeah I just finished Alyx this morning, what an incredible made for VR game. 

Many hours of great fun with that one!
