Joystick Gremlin - vJoy help needed!!

Hello!

 

For the last few years I've been using the pedals from a Logitech Formula Force GP steering wheel as rudder pedals. They've worked pretty good, even though they are quite old and glitch out occasionally. I do also have a G27, but the reason I never used that was because the clutch/throttle pedals weren't on the same axis (The throttle and brake pedals are, but the brake is much too stiff!!!). This meant it wouldn't work, since IL2 recognizes each pedal as a different axis, so I cant choose to have clutch for left, and throttle for right.

 

Recently I've been told about a handy tool, Joystick Gremlin. This lets me do all sorts! And most importantly, allows me to merge axis. However, I can't seem to find out how to get IL2 GB to recognize the "v Joy Device", which would let me bind the new axis rather then bind the G27 axis. Windows recognizes it, however IL2 doesn't. Does anyone know how I can make this work?

EDIT 2: Mhmmm... the first solution doesn't seem to be working... unless I missed something.

 

I'll try install that app to hide controllers from windows.

You're not missing anything. None of these programs work for me either. The solution linked on Josytick Gremlin's FAQ is 7 years old. Something is broken here, both for you and me.
