Alert flight to danger

It is so utterly frustrating to not be able to alert your flight to the 109 bearing down on them and watch one of them get struck by critical hits before they drop their bomb and engage.

 

Please, please, please set whatever state they enter when they decide to fight back to be triggerd by a new verbal command, or the existing 'destroy' hand signal, or even a flare, or enable the attack airial targets or whatever it is to be used by non leaders. Just something so when you are wingman, and it is your job to spot behind you can let the AI know.

 

What is the point in flying as anything other than leader in a PWCG career? What is the point in playing SP when you don't have progession through the ranks because you are forced to start as the leader in order to simply alert your flight to enemies.

 

I know VVS often had no radio, but they would at least be able to check for hand signals, flares, waggled wings or whatever
