Yeah, yeah. You big city types and your fancy dirt runways and your champagne and your designer jeans.

 

When I was a kid, we didn't even have runways. The dog had to run around in circles in the backyard trailing the plane from a string until we had enough speed to get airborne.

I love how you master your plane - always entertaining the videos you share with us. Great flying!

 

Just one silly question: Your start- and landings on the river bed/shore seem to be no problem in your country. Do you need any permit to do this?

 

I mean, hear in Switzerland (I know we have a small airspace), you practically need a permit for everything you plan to do with your airplane - even

if you have to land temporary to have an urgent dump, I guess...

I Central America and South America you are not allowed to land off airport, dirt patches in mountains, beaches or river beds, not a even permit exists to do that.

In the USA you are allowed, there is a legal beach airport in Washington state, and you can land on river beds and off airport (unless its private land  or national park).
