A  Battle of Stalingrad multiplayer beta session. For weeks, the Russian VVS was handed obsolete LaGG-3s, which were shot down in droves. But, at long last, the Russian pilots are given access to the Yak-1 (Series 69) while the Germans are equipped with the brand new Bf. 109G-2 "Gustav". Furious air combat rages on over the cloudy skies of Stalingrad. 

 

Mastiff and Chuck from the No. 71 Aces High Virtual Squadron wing up with other VVS fighter pilots eager for revenge. Together, we head straight for the German airfields and wreck havoc on the stunned Luftwaffe pilots. who hadn't been opposed since the beginning of the war. With the mighty Yak in the fight, the Germans finally have a worthy opponent.
