I bought the game activation key and what's next?

Hello,
I bought the IL-2 Sturmovik: Cliffs of Dover BLITZ version in the il2sturmovik.com store.
I have an activation key in the user panel.
I thought I could download the game, paste the key and play. That was the old days, but apparently I fell out of the gaming cycle and I'm not doing too well today.
Explain to me what I must do in turn.
Where to download the latest version of the game along with the latest patches?
Which programs to install in turn.
Do I need to register on Steam and download any additional software?
How to do it in the specified correct order.

You need have STEAM installed and an account.

 

The, open STEAM, log in your account, go in "Library",

click in "+ADD A GAME" and enter the serial key provide,

after the game (IL-2:CloD) will be available in your STEAM Library.

 

IL-2:CloD DRM is STEAM, so is required for play the game.

Active the key in your account in Il2.sturmovik.com and then use the key in STEAM.
