VR-DriftaholiC Posted April 28, 2020 Posted April 28, 2020 Just curious how many people would spend this kind of money on a FFB Joystick if it was supported by IL-2 or if they finished a driver allowing it to use Direct X's FFB signals. Apparently support is planned with no release date. I for one would buy this if it worked, I just wish it was a priority. https://www.brunner-innovation.swiss/product/cls-e-joystick/ https://forum.brunner-innovation.swiss/forums/topic/dcs-world-il2-others/ 1
Sokol1 Posted April 29, 2020 Posted April 29, 2020 Apparently will be not supported in Il-2, due lack of plugin. Seems this device is not see by Windows like a conventional HID joystick, probable due FFB patents. Anyway give a look in DCS forum, some users bough this model, and may have tested in Il-2.
VR-DriftaholiC Posted April 29, 2020 Author Posted April 29, 2020 Oh yes, I've been watching this thread closely https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=220728 Seems the only answers are, not ready yet, or some third party needs to build the plugin
[JGACE]boiling Posted November 4, 2020 Posted November 4, 2020 It seems that the only new force feedback joystick that supports IL-2 1946 and bos is GAUSS. The base size is about half that of brunner, and the price is half that of brunner.
