[808_BOB]_RlCK Posted April 28, 2020 Posted April 28, 2020 Has anyone else had problems with the P-47 propellor pitch acting up? When I interconnect the propellor pitch to the throttle the lever will go forward with the throttle lever. However, when trying to go down and reduce both propellor pitch and throttle, the prop pitch lever stays in that position. This is kind of annoying to be honest. I have checked my settings 3 times and the problem is still there. When the prop pitch lever is disconnected, it has full range and works normally. Can anyone else confirm that they're also having this issue?

[808_BOB]_RlCK Posted April 28, 2020 Author Posted April 28, 2020 No, you don't get it. When you interconnet the throttle and prop pitch, the prop pitch before the DM patch would move with the throttle on its full range. Now it only moves from less prop pitch forward. And when you reduce throttle, the prop pitch doesn't move.

The way it was before is incorrect. What we have now is correct. Edited April 28, 2020 by Legioneod

The system was set up like that, so the pilot wouldn't inadvertently reduce prop RPM before reducing throttle, which would cause engine detonation. 1
[808_BOB]_RlCK Posted April 28, 2020 Author Posted April 28, 2020 (edited) Which patch was this added? I cannot find it. (Edit) A friend of mine using mouse and keyboard does not have this issue. When he interconnects the throttle with prop pitch, his porp pitch follows the throttle all the way. Edited April 28, 2020 by [808_BOB]Dafak-man

It was added with 4.005 (but as far as i know not in the patch notes ) I reported the same "issue" when the patch dropped only to find out that it is supposed to be like this.
