berelekkerlucrouvroye Posted April 26, 2020 Posted April 26, 2020 Hi, I'm experiencing troubles with my Thrustmaster HOTAS Warthog throttle recently. Never had any problems with it, just an expensive but excellent control set. Until last week, all of a sudden the throttle gives troubles: it's full power, or idle, with a little reaction in the 90+ or 10- range, which makes flying combat, quite difficult. Anyone any idea how to fix this? Of course I tried recalibrating.
berelekkerlucrouvroye Posted April 28, 2020 Author Posted April 28, 2020 Really, no-one? I tried de-installing Il-2, then deleting all maps it still left. Then de-installed all thrustmaster drivers and software, and deleted all that left. Then ran C-Cleaner, to remove any traces from registry. Re-installed Il-2 after calibrating the pedals, throttle and joystick, which all are recognized in Windows and work just fine with for example, FSX, X-plane 11 and Battlefield (non-Steam app) Still no-go, its all-out or no power. Which would be fine according to mr. McRae, it doesn't help in aerial combat. What irritates me most, is there were no trouble at all before the latest update...
spitfirejoe Posted April 28, 2020 Posted April 28, 2020 I use the HOTAS System aswell with no trouble at all, maybe your throttle has some mechanical defects?
berelekkerlucrouvroye Posted April 29, 2020 Author Posted April 29, 2020 Tried that. See 2nd post. Mechanical defects I regard impossible, the controllers are at most a year old and rarely used. And in every other sim, they work just fine. No problem at all calibrating them in Windows (10) (which I run problemlessly for at least 4 years). As they did in Il-2, until the latest update...
mattswe Posted April 29, 2020 Posted April 29, 2020 Im using the warthog too, no problems here. Are you mapping ingame or with TARGET?
berelekkerlucrouvroye Posted April 29, 2020 Author Posted April 29, 2020 I don't use TARGET, although I tried that too... Un-installed all Thrustmaster software after trying if this would fix the problem.
