Flying jasta7 in the DIIIa getting lots of this undifined objects pup ups. What is the cause!  I do not have any cloud or terrain mods, only grass flouwers but that never did give any failure.

What is causing this failure, is it something that I can reduce, by selecting lesser activities on the ground or something similar.

Hello,

First of all, thank you Pat for your wonderful Campaign Generator for Rise of Flight and Il2 series !

I've got the same problem here. I've got some undifined objects pup ups.

Best regards,

Nicolas

Looking at it but not having much success.  I noticed that if I got rid of the British trucks it made the problem go away.  However, that makes no sense as the British trucks are specified properly and actually render properly.  This is an ugly one that will take some time but it will get resolved.

I’m only doing FC version and I always select extra pilots for my own flight, mostly two times more, if that could be helpfull

I confirm that it only happens in FC.

Pat, no problem, take your time to resolve this issue.

To go through this issue, I return to the desktop and I click on the undifined objects  window until it disappears.

And I confirm that this also happens with WW2. I don't own FC and I started too see the undefined objects window in missions generated with 8.7.x. Remedy is the same, switch to desktop, close the undefined objects windows and come back to the game to continue.

Please post a mission with the eng file.  Thanks

Here you go. As said earlier, you already have this. And the front lines are also missing. Here's a screen capture of the dialog after about 3-5 seconds of flying from the start of the mission. Doesn't say too much :(

Good news bad news:

Good news: I think I know what the problem is: The issue is caused by spawning a moving vehicle in water.

Bad News: I have no particularly great way of solving this.

Looks like an in game change as this did not happen before.  The "Unidentified Object" error is unbelievably misleading.  I think that I can do something to drastically reduce occurrences but complete solution is probably a long time if ever away.

I did already reduce the ground activities from max to lowest, I do hope this will help.

Have runs several WWI missions.  Results of fix look good.  Could still happen but should be very. very rare.
