keeno Posted April 26, 2020 Posted April 26, 2020 (edited) Hi all, I normally play with a few MODs on, I wanted to play multiplayer tonight (racing if poss) and turned "MODs off" and then found my game wouldn't start. Putting "MODs enabled" allowed the game to start again. See the attached pic for error code. Any ideas? Thanks in advance. Edited April 26, 2020 by keeno
56RAF_Roblex Posted April 26, 2020 Posted April 26, 2020 Do you use JSGME to apply mods? If you do then my guess would be that your 'Clean' version is corrupted. JSGME works by swapping out the correct files and replacing them with the modded versions then when you use JSGME to remove the mods (You *did* uninstall the mods first?) it puts the clean versions (the ones you told JSGME to save when you installed it) back in. If the clean version is corrupt it wont work. I have not used JSGME for a while so I am guessing you also needed to update the 'clean' files held by JSGME after the last update. 2
keeno Posted April 27, 2020 Author Posted April 27, 2020 (edited) Thanks for the reply Roblex, I do use JSGME for MODS. next question..... how do I fix it? cheers Edited April 27, 2020 by keeno
DD_Arthur Posted April 27, 2020 Posted April 27, 2020 In JSGME switch off all mods then try logging in online in mods off mode.
keeno Posted April 28, 2020 Author Posted April 28, 2020 Thanks for the reply Arthur, I’ve tried that first the game still wouldn’t start. What I’m hoping to do is avoid a re-download! Any other idea? Cheers

Each mod on JSGME usually only changes a couple of files or a couple of specific small folders so If you look to see what files JSGME swaps over and can get the official versions of just those files from somewhere then you should be OK but otherwise you are going to have to do it from scratch. keeno Posted April 28, 2020 Author Posted April 28, 2020 Thanks Roblex, I suspected that was the case! Cheers again.
