Indufuskellum Posted April 26, 2020 Posted April 26, 2020 My problem is I upgraded my VPC software to 20200325 ,since then I get no response for the buttons in the joy tester, Tried in IL2 the X and Y are recognized but not the buttons on Mongoos-T50 cm Flightstick,on the Mongoos-T50 cm Throttle everything works fine. Reading through the forum I'm pretty sure I set up both controls while they were both connected, not realizing that you are supposed to remove one (have not been told about this in two years) ! Any help would greatly be appreciated. skellum
No_85_Gramps Posted April 26, 2020 Posted April 26, 2020 Here's a set of youtube tutorials for the Virpil stuff, https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL2kRNYjsz2IDZWueRjHKHMqHvpYJnA8wD Really strange about "disconnect one", found out about that the hard way sometime ago.
Indufuskellum Posted April 27, 2020 Author Posted April 27, 2020 Thanks, Tried most of there video,no success yet, strange worked for two years without a hitch, until I updated.
No_85_Gramps Posted April 27, 2020 Posted April 27, 2020 (edited) I don't recall exactly how to do it but there is a way to set units back to the factory defaults. A user on another forum, Cyph3r, I recall, helped me get my issue sorted out. Unfortunately he is not around anymore. I know it's a long shot but have you tried Virpil's forums? Here's how to reset the throttle: Edited April 27, 2020 by No_85_Gramps
Indufuskellum Posted April 27, 2020 Author Posted April 27, 2020 Yes there is a hard setting for the joystick, which you have to open the base and short two pins unlike the throttle which has a button to reset. I am waiting to find out from Shadowze who seems to run the video's if this is the right way to go. Thanks for your help.☺️ 1
No_85_Gramps Posted April 27, 2020 Posted April 27, 2020 Good luck, hope you can get it sorted out. I got my base/stick 2 years ago, and then 6 months after I got the throttle. That's when I ran into the problem and cyph3r got me sorted out. Once I got it up an running I decided to leave the firmware updates alone, been working great ever since.
