Force feedback trimmer

Hello guys, I am using the Sidewinder FFB 2 and I was wondering if I could disable the trim centering feature.

The stick of course has a bit of free play around it's center position and I have to set a deadzone and change the sensitivity curve, however when I use the trim

the center position moves and it becomes very sensitive.
I know it's not realistic but in IL2 1946 it was perfect.

 

So can I keep using the force feedback without the trim centering
