BluesCpt_Aaran Posted April 18, 2020 Posted April 18, 2020 Hi All, Hope everyone is well and keeping safe. Just a quick question. I've had to start my career mode again due to a corrupt file. Is it possible when it comes to The Battle of Bodenplatte, can I carry over my Russian campaign pilot with all medals I've already achieved? Or start with a British, American campaign separately. It makes sense with a German campaign to carry all the way through to the end of all campaigns.

Well... whenever something like Battle of Bagration (early 1944 Eastern front battle) and Battle of Berlin is done after BoN, then that may be possible. Unless your BoK Pilot for some reason didn’t fly for a year, and then came back in 1944 and was sent to the Western Front. I don’t see it possible to use your BoK pilot in Bodenplatte.

PWCG currently lets Russian pilots fly to the end of 1944 using a faux Bagration campaign (Stalingrad map). A faux 1945 campaign using the Bodenplatte map is coming within the month. PWCG also allows transfer between services provided the services are on the same side. Quite realistic in limited ways. Not at all realistic in every and any way. I don't try to absolutely enforce realism - if you want to do it, go for it. So you could fly Russian from 1941 and then transfer to a Western service on Sept.1 1 1944. Realistic? No. Fun? That's your call. Edited April 18, 2020 by PatrickAWlson

It absolutely already is possible to do this in the game's career mode, and it's entirety plausible, considering that some units move from Kuban to the West. Edited April 18, 2020 by LukeFF
