SCG_Darbzy Posted April 18, 2020 Posted April 18, 2020 Hi all, I’m interested In hosting a co-op server to fly some of the missions created by other IL-2 fanatics, but I have absolutely no idea how to do it or where to start. Is there a manual somewhere that can explain it to me like I’m a 5 year-old? Thanks.

Er.....I made this a couple of years ago for my squadmates.. All the interesting bits are in thie first few minutes....after that I just fly the coop If you are going to host you'll need to make sure your router ports are correctly opened to allow people to connect to your server. This is the most difficult bit! Dunno if this might help too; http://dangerdogz.com/forums/topic/13140-port-forwarding/ It's really important for the host to have a strong internet connection. If you need missions we use this most excellent tool from here; It can produce some fantastic coops. We have around fifteen to twenty players on a regular basis now. Be prepared for a lot of Cat herding. We also have a procedure for when it all goes wrong just after the launch of the coop.....as it so often does! Good luck! 1
