Features a lot of lag shooting this week.

I think most was the one target I kept running into, but the game felt strange all night. Plane was reluctant to get off the ground, climbing was painful. Dunno why, throttle and mixtures seemed ok.

Was to be expected following removal of simplified physics. Had several control jams on Dr1 and snapped wings on my D7 once following 0.2% damage by Gus.

 

Buttzell's map were a nice addition.

I've pretty much gave up on fighting back, 1 burst and I'm cooked for the most part. Shoot me from any where and you have me beat.

Set the alarm clock and finally made it to a Sunday fly-in.

Madness over the mud with more Camels than Egypt at times. Lots of fun though and i got to fly with Rummell at last. Even stole one of his kills to top it off!

Most timestamps done. Scraps against J5 and J30 Fokkers plus the turbulence of course. Not sure what level it was at but feels a little too much. Like the idea but 1 notch lower perhaps?

Baer is on approved leave to Paris- obviously the officer granting his request failed to recall his recent "flying east" incident, NEVERTHELESS, I stepped in and attempted my best. But as we will see, I am no Johnny "Baer" Carson.

 

Two big fights with JG1. Really nice to see big formations coming across the liiiiiiines (Cecil Lewis voice). No times stamps to be added but somewhere around 1:45:00 is the first scrap. Prior to that was the usual booooooriiiiiiiing stratosphere fokker defensive manuevers, positioning, dragging, etcetera. I think they eventually lost sight of us, which is what happens when you fly way too high. 

 

Towards the end a second big fight occurred with JG1. Around 2:40:00 is when it kicks off. Prior to that is the usual positioning and all that. 

 

At the end we review the track recordings of the fights. 

 

Fun times and good fights by all.

Here is the flight recorded by my brother Kotori when we ran into the first large formation from JG1 you mentioned. He didn't get the audio set correctly, so you can't here what he says, just Wolfpack345, Tortuga Power (who just got FC and is testing it out in SP in the background), and I.

Good to be back with the lads after a month of very little flying.

Seemed to run into our J30 friends with their Orange Fokkers all over the map. 

Some good scraps with them, including a hairy 9 plane fight near the end. 

Earlier, a jammed aileron from a single damage round fired by a Pfalz reminded me the DM is still, shall we say, a work in progress?

Good scraps tonight, mostly with the J30 guys as we all tried to get used to the new visibility update.

Started well but the last 2 engagements turned nasty very quickly. S!

 

New viz seems ok for close-medium distances, but a few of us had problems at long range with specks popping in and out of view. That may not be the worst thing of course.

Pretty unsatisfying session. DM has ruined this sim for MP and turned it into an SP only game. Lucky there's all that SP content..

Every engagement i witnessed had one or more of our guys suffer critical 'control rod' damage.
