Train cars start in the air

Around Koln in Rheinland so far, about to check other areas. Train engines w/ carriages have their cars start up in the air and then crash down on activation. 

Have

a) tried new train active entity

b) tried other nearby locations ( including other track lines ) 

c) tried replacing the cars.

d) tried just one car  ( g8t && boxb ) 

e) ( edit ) also tried setting elevation manually vs "set on ground"

 

-- engine by itself runs great ?
