Lensman Posted April 17, 2020 Posted April 17, 2020 Hello all. I thought I'd give you something to watch during these days of internal experience. Here's some very early HD video I took in 2005 at the Imperial War Museum in Duxford - UK. There are a variety of interesting aircraft but predominantly the 'Battle of Britain Memorial Flight' which flew a genuine bombing mission that day when the Lancaster dropped a vast number of poppies over the Mall in London as part of a memorial event viewed by Her Majesty the Queen. You'll rarely see the 'Battle of Britain Memorial Flight' on the ground like this but they were based at Duxford that day. The video is also notable for showing 2 flying B17s which in Europe is extremely rare! I hope you might find this interesting and 'Stay Safe' all! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FSEJgfzmT5c&feature=youtu.be
