Aahz Posted April 16, 2020 Posted April 16, 2020 Looking for a discount code for the new IL-2 Sturmovik: Battle of Normandy - Premium Edition. 2
Rjel Posted April 16, 2020 Posted April 16, 2020 Probably not as it hasn't been released yet. It is on sale as a pre-order.
Aahz Posted April 17, 2020 Author Posted April 17, 2020 I was hoping for one because at the price they are asking does not seem a sale price, just retail. 1
Rjel Posted April 17, 2020 Posted April 17, 2020 Maybe you could ask someone to buy it for you like others have? You might get lucky. Personally, I don’t find the early access price to be out of line.
Jade_Monkey Posted April 17, 2020 Posted April 17, 2020 (edited) Maybe if we paid the price they ask for they would be able to fund their business and continue producing content. If we all buy at a discount then don't whine when they don't include some obscure feature you wanted, or simply they stop creating new battles because it's simply not viable. Well, the devs don't live off of forum upvotes, they need to get paid.

I can’t imagine anyone would buy this sim and then play for as little as 40 hours. Even if they walked away from the game then, that $2 an hour investment would be some of the cheapest entertainment they’d ever hope to get. Edited April 18, 2020 by Rjel Math 1
Aahz Posted April 17, 2020 Author Posted April 17, 2020 I tossed a rock but it made a big splash. Sorry gents I did not intend to ruffle your feathers. 1
