GRehalkov Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 Hi pilots, is is possible to move freely my head in cocpit during replays of my fly records, i think that devs somewhere explained it, but i don´t remember where. thx.
AndyJWest Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 You need 'Cockpit head-unlinked view' (Left-Alt + F1 by default). This allows you to change direction of view and zoom level in replays. What it currently doesn't do is allow you to move the viewpoint itself (i.e. move the head left-right, up-down, frorward-backward).
LoneStar Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 In recorded tracks, "Cockpit head-unlinked view" disables the recorded views, enables zoom view but does not allow the view direction to be changed. How does one scan around the cockpit in recorded tracks independent of the recorded views. Is this possible in BoS? Am I missing something here? This is possible in Rise of Flight, IL2-FB and Cliffs of Dover.
DD_Arthur Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 Is this possible in BoS? Am I missing something here? Yes, it is possible in BoS. As said above; use cockpit head-unlinked view. Works fine with trackir.
LoneStar Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 Yes, it is possible in BoS. As said above; use cockpit head-unlinked view. Works fine with trackir. Thanks for the reply. I'm aware that tracker works in recorded tracks with "Cockpit head-unlinked". Using the mouse is more steady. Very useful when creating videos that include view inside the cockpit. You can use the mouse to look around the cockpit in recorded tracks in Rise of Flight, IL2-FB and Cliffs of Dover. Evidently, this feature is not available in Battle of Stalingrad.
DD_Arthur Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 Ahh...I see what you mean. Yep, using mouse only does not seem to work with cockpit head unlinked.
LoneStar Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 Thanks for that feedback. I'll post in the bug list! Hopefully this is a simple oversight and simple to correct.
-NW-ChiefRedCloud Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 I'll confirm this just for the fun of it since I just HAD to go try. I did have to center my TiR after hitting Left Alt+F1 and if you look outside of your aircraft you may have to hit Left Alt+F1 again. Thanks for this tip arthursmedley .... Chief
DD_Arthur Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 I only found this in RoF after having played the game for four years Chief - doh! I think it makes every flight worth recording. You never know what you might 'see'
