La5 ser.8 - Cylinder Head temperature/specification

Hi,

 

I'm trying to get to grips with the La5 ser. 8 and think there may be a mistake in the text guidance for it, both on the specification tab on the map page in game, and the forum post that shows the individual technical specifications.

 

It says that the cylinder head maximum temperature is 215 C, but the markings on the dial and the lack of overheating message in game when it shows a level above 215 C suggest it should be listed in the guidance as 250 C?

 

Attached is a screenshot showing the cylinder head at about 230 C, no overheating message (they are turned on as I was tring to learn the aircraft) and that the red line starts at 250 C on the dial.

 

Also attached is a shot of the text I mean in the guidance.

 

If I am right, this means I need to worry much less about the cylinder temperature than I have been!

Yep, 250 deg for the FN spec

 

Oil temp wrong in FN spec, looks right in Ser. 8 (125 deg)

Thanks. Yes I just checked that one now.

 

So to clarify:

 

The La5 ser 8 needs the max cylinder head text in the guidance to read as 250 C.

 

And the LA5FN ser 2 has the correct max cylinder head value showing in the guidance, but needs it's oil temperature value correcting from 85 C to 125 C
