Bladderburst Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 OH MY!!! Thanks a lot for this! I really like that airplane, always found its lines beautiful. 1
71st_AH_Hooves Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 It really looks beautiful. Love all that visibility from that conopy! 1
WWChunk Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 Oh...that is pretty! I want it, I want it, I want it... 1
sallee Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 It really looks beautiful. Love all that visibility from that conopy! I hope they model that bar in the cockpit properly. I can hide my LaGG behind it.
otherlank Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 I hope they model that bar in the cockpit properly. I can hide my LaGG behind it. It only took 11 posts to reference the bar. Impressive.
sallee Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 It only took 11 posts to reference the bar. Impressive. Well, it's almost a catchphrase.....
Pierre64 Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 Nice! I noticed the outer-wing 20mm MGFFs are removed.
216th_Peterla Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 That's an amazing plane to crash on the ground...my special ability!!!
csThor Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 (edited) [Former Skinner Ranting] The camouflage could do with some more work. The demarkation line on the flanks is far too low, it looks as if the designer looked far too closely at the horrible illustrations from Osprey's range of books. Standard mottling on the flanks (when done in the factory) was a lot lighter. The camouflage pattern was heavily standardized (in the factories). And please check the colours. RLM 74 looks far too greenish for my taste. [/Former Skinner Ranting] Yes, it's nitpicking. But important nitpicking. Edited April 28, 2014 by csThor 8
startrekmike Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 This may be a dumb as rocks question but what weapon loadout can we expect for the version we get in BoS?
Nil Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 Nice! I noticed the outer-wing 20mm MGFFs are removed. Hope the removed ones are a field mod, instead of unlocking them, since they were standard equipment!
Pierre64 Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 Yes, it's nitpicking. But important nitpicking. I agree very important nitpicking!!

SvAF/F19_Klunk Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 I hope they model that bar in the cockpit properly. I can hide my LaGG behind it. Lol.... I knew it.... Lol
JG4_Sputnik Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 Wonderful plane! first thing I noticed though as well was the not so great skin... Cant wait to fly that bird myself! 8)
Georgio Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 Talking from a Russian perspective this is not good news, well at least until the La-5 turns up...^^
TJT Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 Ohhhh, SHINEY!!!!!! New additions to my Win 8 wallpaper folder.
Superluminal Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 4th picture down looks like the 190 is flying nose down in level flight. "Unlike the Messerschmitt fighter, it had a single-piece sliding canopy, giving a first class all-around view from the cockpit, while the slightly nose-down level-flight attitude gave a good view forward. The seat was semireclining, with a high heel-line which gave the pilot good g-resistance." - Mike Spick page 96 "Luftwaffe Fighter Aces" 2
steppenwolf Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 I don't know anything about historical schemes, but I'm impressed. 777 does top notch models. 1
Caudron431 Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 You look at it and you immediately know it will be exciting to fly. 1

It's great to see it assuming that is a screenshot of level flight.
Jason_Williams Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 Ya she's looking good ain't she! As always the team does a terrific job. Jason 5
Pierre64 Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 Détails accuracy is amazing. Did you notice this detail of the flap mechanism? This is a visual indicator of flap angle, seen from the cockpit through a circular opening on the wing uppersurface:
Requiem Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 Very nice shots, I'm looking forward to hearing how it sounds too
OBT-Psycho Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 (edited) she so beautiful, and that agressive overall look always get me is there any pics of the cockpit out yet? not that I am eager to see this, but boy do I love this plane Edited April 28, 2014 by OBT-Psychopoak
AA_Engadin Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 (edited) Oh Lord, how beautiful!, I'm afraid I've fallen in love ... with a machine. How's named this sort of perversion? Würgerphilia (©)? AA_Engadin Edited April 28, 2014 by AA_Engadin
Volkoff Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 That is one lean & mean flat scissor machine. The team sure did a lovely job. What a sweet ride. MJ
ShamrockOneFive Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 I regret getting Regular and not Premium at this point Beautifully done... also Devs... listen to csThor about paint work whatever you do.
II/JG17_HerrMurf Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 (edited) I wouldn't worry too much about the paint quite yet boys. The 190 also didn't have gray styrene instrument hoods or plastic armor plate behind the pilot's head. That's beautiful. 100% agree:While two of this are later models, the factory painting was standardized. Factory mottling starts above the exhaust vents. Jaws, your first pic is a heavily retouched photo by Air Corp censors. The crosses are all wrong. Not sure if any of the other paint was retouched as well. Last pic, however, has always been one of my favorites. Lot's of atmosphere, uni's, equipment and that beautiful aircraft in the background. Edited April 29, 2014 by A1FltTrn=HerrMurf
