JG1_Jaus Posted April 15, 2020 Posted April 15, 2020 (edited) I am frequently seeing several graphics glitches and am not sure how to start diagnosing the problem. - two levels of terra firma, one real, and one above it that is just an apparition. Not noticeable from the air but plays havoc with takeoffs and with landings as you flare out about 15ft too high. - long stretches of jagged white running through the terrain. - buildings floating 50 ft above ground level. Trees in the same are are not affected. Any ideas where to start looking for the problem? Thanks. Edited April 15, 2020 by JG1_Jaus
TAAC_Blue Posted April 15, 2020 Posted April 15, 2020 I saw this too on one of our training missions. I just chalked it up to being created before this last update. If it's a user created mission, maybe try opening it in the editor and resaving it?
JG1_Jaus Posted April 15, 2020 Author Posted April 15, 2020 I saw all three of these last night while on a multiplayer server.
JG1_Jaus Posted April 15, 2020 Author Posted April 15, 2020 That is the first glitch I describe but in reverse. When landing I usually see the 'fake' ground above the 'hard' ground I'll try to get tracks of all three types.
Raven109 Posted April 17, 2020 Posted April 17, 2020 I got the double terrain today as well , in a fresh ME mission. Came in for a soft landing, only to see the plane sink into the ground and blow up at an airfield next to Stalingrad.
BH_Adabadoo_VR Posted May 16, 2020 Posted May 16, 2020 I get this frequently are u us vr I am love to get a fix for this
Hazzfantastik Posted May 17, 2020 Posted May 17, 2020 I have this issue too. Multiple layers of terrain about 500 ft apart. Sometimes I can fly through it, other times not and crash. This makes landing near impossible as I can't tell what terrain real and solid. Also makes bombing target impossible as I cant see the the ground targets due to being obscured by the phantom terrain that is over the top of them. I'm going to play with the graphics settings and see if I can reduce the issue.
