IckyATLAS Posted April 14, 2020 Posted April 14, 2020 I have on an airfield some Bombers that are Neutral. The gunners on these bombers will start firing on planes of other nationalities. Why? A Neutral plane should stay Neutral and not engage anybody. Right?
Gambit21 Posted April 14, 2020 Posted April 14, 2020 Neutral units (vehicles etc) are also fired upon by all nationalities. ”Neutral” isn’t really neutral - rather seems to mean against everyone.

Unless things have changed since I wrote the manual, a neutral object is considered friendly to human players and an enemy to AI objects. FYI, that's why you can get a "fired on a friendly" chat message when you attack an enemy target (assuming you did not accidentally hit another attacking plane). This occurs If some of the objects in a target area are left as neutral.

At least they should have considered that the Player plane together with all its related group is not to be fired upon..
TP_Silk Posted April 14, 2020 Posted April 14, 2020 Not sure that's correct. I made a tank range mission recently and tried to stop the nearest targets from shooting at me by making them neutral - they still did.
