MCU Translator Media does not work anymore for images

Have others than me noticed that The Translator Media MCU does not work anymore for images since version 4.005

I had no issue in 4.004. I use JPG images formatted to 850x500 pixels.

The Translator media still works for sound tracks.

To the contrary, I am very happy about these news, ? but what then has changed.

Or to be more practical could you help by telling us the images you have that are working are what type of format and size. This may help understand why it is not working anymore in my system. Thanks

Did you accidentally move the media folder? The main problem is, if you move something, nothing works anymore. Open your mission again with the ME and reposition the pictures in the media trigger, and see what happens.

Nope. Checked all of it and to be sure resaved but no change.

And then I had my Eureka!!! moment. The HUD is not activated at game start and I did not hit that damn H key. You cannot see the images if the HUD is not active.

Now all my images are back again. How stupid I am. 

Frankly the image display should be separate from the HUD display to be fair.
