DN308 Posted April 13, 2020 Posted April 13, 2020 I’ve designed a mission that runs nicely, except that it runs without me... I mean that I just can go as spectator only, it begins mid air in the middle of the countryside and after sometime, I just can scroll in the various planes of the game without be able to fly one. is there a chance that defining two planes as player can be responsible of that issue? I’m not sure if That but at some moment of edition, I.ve defined a plane as player and changed my mind to another. But for now, I don’t remember if I turned the other one as AI. I can’t have a look on the editor until sometime so I ask here, just for my information what can cause that issue
JimTM Posted April 13, 2020 Posted April 13, 2020 Yes, you may have an issue with the player plane, but I don't remember if it's possible to have 2 (I know it's possible to have none). See "The Player Cannot Enter a Plane in a Singleplayer Mission" on pg. 185 of the editor manual.
IckyATLAS Posted April 14, 2020 Posted April 14, 2020 It is not possible to have two player planes and make an error. The Editor will automatically switch the previous player plane into an AI pilot and have you as player in the newly selected plane. The Editor will also display a message about this double player issue, but it will be corrected automatically to your last choice.
DN308 Posted April 14, 2020 Author Posted April 14, 2020 ? so i will check if I´ve really choose a player’s plane. That should be the issue.
DN308 Posted April 14, 2020 Author Posted April 14, 2020 My bad! I just forgot to choose a plane as player... I was sure of that and just corrected. Sorry for my questions
