Keymappings a mess - Solved

Hi. I reinstalled 4.005b fresh.

 

For some reason i have problems getting key board keys not working. f.i. F for flaps up and Rshift-F for down just don't work.

Pressed Apply alright, and the interface page responds correctly, but the game will not react during gameplay to these settings. Any tips?

 

PS a general question: The Settings Keymapping page has several sub pages. If you press Default, ar all the pages reset, or just the one that's on screen?

PS just found deleting devices.txt in the input folder fixed a lot ...

Yes, clearing the devices.txt will solve most problems with keybindings, you only need to reassign your Axis and all should be good.

This last version changed my key mapping settings. Always good idea to save that file.

Just had a similar problem with my throttle and prop pitch link in the P47. It says in the game that is linking and unlinking but nothing is happen. Where do I find the devices.text file?

Yes, the entire Input folder, I always have a back up of that in my dump truck drive.  God knows I fat finger crap every once in a while and "accidentally" delete things I shouldn't.
