PommyB Posted April 12, 2020 Posted April 12, 2020 (edited) Is this coming any time soon? At least give it to single players. Edited April 12, 2020 by PommyB
SIA_Sp00k Posted June 8, 2020 Posted June 8, 2020 Many are using it right now. You will have to find the thread though as theres a bit to do to make it happen. Once done, theres no looking back. (Bad pun intended) 1

You're using a VR headset,.. simply turn your eyes, head, neck, and upper body rearward to view behind you as you would in the aircraft.

To beat the Owl, you must become the Owl. 1 1
vonGraf Posted July 22, 2020 Posted July 22, 2020 I have limited my view backwards to 140° max in the TrackIR profile to get a bit more 'realism'/less 'owl'.

Wish that turning my swivel chair 180 degrees would do that ..
SIA_Target Posted August 9, 2020 Posted August 9, 2020 (edited) Yes, age and disabilities can make turning one's head an effort. Unfortunately the newest version of Driver4VR doesn't work for me and my Samsung. Nor does the FreePie work around, due to a Steam update I believe. But can't go back to TrackIR, VR too addictive. I want the ease of looking behind me as others have using Track IR5. I'm 70 years old and twisting and turning is not something everyone can do. So give me a button I can toggle front/rear view while in VR. For the love of......just because you can, not everyone can.

Actually I like this idea, just a quick view or a 180 snap view hold till release… to scan my six would be nice… 1
Charlo-VRde Posted September 2, 2021 Posted September 2, 2021 This 55 year old neck in a chair that doesn’t swivel relies on the above free software to play competitively in VR
Fouldespiser25 Posted September 4, 2021 Posted September 4, 2021 (edited) Look for VR Neck Saver. VRNS. I cant play either IL2 or DCS without it running. In fact once setup correctly it blends seamlessly with VR. Edited September 4, 2021 by Fouldespiser25 1
GOA_Karaya_VR Posted September 4, 2021 Posted September 4, 2021 Sad that VR Neck Saver only works with SteamVR ( Wich consume alot of resourses of the CPU ), some people goes with open composite and its impossible to run that program with it.
