Unable to install Game Client

I am unable to install the game client for IL2 Battle of Bodenplatte - My game client appears to just keep downloading without ever stopping

 

For instance my download went to 350GB / 110GB without stopping.

 

Any ideas / suggestions would be appreciated.

 

If there are any log files which are needed please can you point me in the right direction?

Hi,

 

strange, I just downloaded the installer and it works fine. I also used it last week to install the game for my nephew

without any trouble. But I think you went to the wrong place. Here you will find the file:

 

 

Make sure, you are correctly logged-in and then click on the download link. It works 100%!

I am also experiencing the same problem --- download continues forever and never finishes---- after downloading 5x more than it said was needed, I took a screenshot. 

 

I went to sleep, and when I woke up in the morning, it said "FAILED TO UPDATE".  I have let it run overnight twice.

 

I have deleted the "updates" folder, restarted the launcher and the download begins again, same result.

I have deleted the entire IL-2 Folder, and reinstalled the launcher, same result.

I have uninstalled through control panel, and reinstalled the launcher, with fresh download from the IL-2 Website, same result.

 

I'm running windows 11 if that makes a difference?
