Key activation on steam

I bought battle of bodenplatte on the IL2 official website but I can't activate the game key on steam. Whats the issue here?

You can't - this will not work as it is not designed for. In your case you need to download the game installer which can be found

here: https://il2sturmovik.com/download/ (login to website needed)

 

This will install the whole game onto your hard drive. If possible customize your installation and avoid the default installation

path. Instead, choose your own path like f.ex. C:\games\IL-2 Great Battles or whatever you like.

If you wish to run IL2 via steam you need to own Battle of stalingrad as this is the main game on steam and all the other Battle series are classes as DLC.

But wait for a sale as BOS can be a great buy then , then you have to link accounts steam / IL2

Hi guys, I am stuck. I bought Battle of stalingrad + Battle of Bodenplatte (as it was not letting me buy the latter alone).

 

I have registered through steam on teh website as well. But I do not see any purchases in my website profile (they are there, and installed on steam). I dont see any keys for activation in steam as well. I am stuck, and not sure what to do. I am able to open the game and reach the main menu. but when i go to career, all the campaigns are locked. 

 

Please help

If you bought Stalingrad and Bodenplatte on Steam they won't show up on your website profile, only ones bought from the website will. But when you start the game through steam you should definitely have both Stalingrad and Bodenplatte. Note that careers and scripted campaigns are different though and scripted campaigns need to be bought separately. In careers you should have both Stalingrad and the Rheinland available.

I understand, but there is a genuine issue in steam purchases, which is faced by others as well. My way out was to refund on steam and buy from 1C directly.

is there a way to add steam purchases to my profile on here so people can see it on the forum too? theyre in the game ok and my accounts are linked, so i find it strange that it doesnt add it to the list of games you own on here
